Patients with any of these symptoms may need to be tested for undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea:

Snores, gasps, or stops breathing while sleeping
-
Chronic fatigue, morning headaches, or daytime drowsiness
-
Morning dry mouth or sore throat
-

We do not recommend an
in-home sleep test to patients with the following medical conditions:
-
Significant cardiorespiratory disease

Awake or sleep-related hypoventilation
-
Chronic use of opioid medication
